Our studio is based in Auckland, New Zealand. From the initial idea to the final polish, every step of the process takes place locally — designed, crafted, and completed with care by our local jewellers. Every BÓHDAN piece is crafted with precision, carefully worked under a microscope.

Bespoke process

A custom ring is a deeply personal journey, guided by Alla Bóhdan. There is no additional cost for bespoke designs, and the process includes as many personal meetings as needed until everything feels just right. To make your BÓHDAN piece more attainable, we offer flexible split payment options.

01 Conversation

We begin with a relaxed and open conversation. This may happen over coffee in Auckland, via email, social media, or video call.

02 Diamond curation

The process always includes carefully curated diamond sourcing. Every BÓHDAN diamond is IGI/GIA certified and comes with a life time warranty.

03 Design process

From silhouette to setting details, every element is thoughtfully refined together. The journey moves from initial hand sketches to reviewing and approving a digital CAD model of your ring before production begins.

04 Crafting your ring

Once the design is approved, your ring is handcrafted by a skilled BÓHDAN jeweller with precision and deep respect for the materials. On average, it takes around four to six weeks to craft a bespoke piece.

05 Final touches

Before your ring reaches you, it undergoes a detailed quality check. All BÓHDAN pieces are carefully reviewed under a microscope to ensure your ring is absolutely perfect.

06 Stay close

With BÓHDAN, your diamond is covered by a lifetime warranty. If it becomes damaged due to a manufacturing fault, we will replace it.
