How long will it take to receive my order?
Most BÓHDAN pieces are made to order with care and intention. If your piece is in stock, it will ship within 5 business days. For made-to-order and custom pieces, production time may vary.
If you need your jewellery by a specific date, please reach out — we’ll always do our best to meet your timeline.
Are your prices subject to change?
Yes. Prices may shift due to changes in gold pricing, diamond availability, or design complexity. Each piece is carefully priced based on its materials and craftsmanship. You secure your price on the day of full payment or deposit.
Can I include a personal engraving?
Absolutely. A quiet inscription — like initials, a date, or a meaningful phrase — adds a layer of intimacy to your piece. If this is something you’re considering, please leave your engraving idea on the product page when ordering.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. If you'd prefer to pay in instalments, please reach out directly. We’re happy to offer flexible payment options that make the process feel easy and comfortable.
Ring sizing & fit
How are your rings sized?
BÓHDAN rings follow the UK/AU/NZ sizing scale. If you’re unsure of your size or need help converting from another system, feel free to reach out to us at sale@bohdandiamonds.com.
Remember, fingers can change with weather, time of day, or travel. A good fit should glide on easily and meet gentle resistance at the knuckle — secure, but never tight. We’re happy to help find your ideal size, and we can also use traditional jeweller’s techniques for a bespoke fit.
What if I need to resize my ring later?
We offer one complimentary resizing (within two sizes) within 30 days of receiving your ring. Just get in touch, and we’ll arrange it with care.
Shipping & delivery
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — BÓHDAN ships worldwide. Complimentary FedEx shipping is included with every order, and all shipments are insured and require a signature on delivery.
What shipping service do you use?
All international pieces are shipped via FedEx, fully insured against theft or damage during transit. Once the parcel is signed for, BÓHDAN is no longer liable, so please make sure someone is available to receive it.
Will I be charged sales tax or customs duties?
Sales tax is calculated according to the destination's local laws. For international clients, customs duties and import fees may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient.
Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Because each BÓHDAN piece is made just for you, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges on custom or made-to-order items. If you have any questions before placing your order, please don’t hesitate to ask. We want you to feel confident and supported.
Diamonds & materials
Do you only use lab-grown diamonds?
We work with both lab-grown and natural diamonds, depending on your preferences, budget, and what feels right to you. All diamonds are ethically sourced from trusted partners. We’ll talk through both options during your design journey, so you feel fully informed and excited about your choice.
Are your diamonds ethically sourced?
Yes. Every BÓHDAN diamond is fully certified, ethically sourced, and includes lifetime insurance.
What’s the difference between custom, made-to-order, and ready-to-ship?

Custom Design
This is our most intimate and tailored process. You and Alla work closely — step by step — to bring your vision to life. From diamond sourcing to design sketches and reviews, no detail is rushed or overlooked. -
Made-to-Order
These are BÓHDAN’s signature designs, made for you. You can request variations — such as a different metal, stone cut, or setting. Simply click “Enquire” on the product page to begin. -
Ready-to-Ship
These one-of-a-kind pieces are already crafted and ready for immediate purchase. They can be resized by up to two sizes and will ship within a week.
Jewellery care
How should I care for my gold jewellery?
BÓHDAN pieces are designed to live with you. Wear them every day — but with love. I recommend removing your rings before yoga, intense workouts, or household chores to protect them from wear.
How do I clean my jewellery?
Gold naturally develops a soft patina with time.
To clean it gently at home:

Soak in lukewarm water with a drop of gentle, non-detergent soap.

Where is your jewellery made?
Every BÓHDAN piece is designed and handcrafted in Auckland, New Zealand. Made slowly, made well.
How long does it take to create a custom piece with you?
Each custom piece is a personal journey, and we take the time to do it right. On average, the process takes 4 to 8 weeks, depending on the rarity of your chosen diamond, the complexity of the design, and any bespoke details involved. If you have a specific date in mind, let us know early.
